The story of “Lonely Crime Fanatic (2024)” when Ashley Dreamed that her husband Paul attacked her in their home. The couple recently separated. And Ashley is trying to find a divorce lawyer. Instead, she spends her time running and splashing around on her latest “project”: listening to true crime podcasts.
-Throughout the story, Lily, her black best friend. Ashley was repeatedly warned against using these projects as distractions. Ashley apparently has a habit of doing temporary activities like knitting instead of doing the actual things that need to be done.

-Lily is both friend and enemy of Ashley’s current obsession. As her best friend warns Ashley to stop consuming real crime before bed, she also suggests a new title: “Unsolved Files” by David Bryant.

-Ashley soon learns in a YouTube interview that David is a former federal investigator and criminal profiler turned writer and podcaster.

-In an effort to encourage myself So Ashley bought a ticket to David’s book signing. They met in person and agreed. In short, they began dating and in exchange for giving her a tour of his studio. He begins pumping her for information about her fight with Paul.
