Sinopsis Film Call of Heroes (2016)

The story of the movie “Call of Heroes“, teacher Miss Bai, as she takes care of a group of children from a ruined stone city, travels to Pucheng city when they stop at a hotel. They see a drifter (Eddie Peng) stand up to a group of thugs before riding blindfolded on a horse. It’s a fun and promising opening. This is followed by unnecessary extra scenes that provide background to the voice acting, while long, unconvincing CG shots fill the screen. Ending with a banner blowing in the wind. The story is easily picked up through the characters’ dialogue in the first fifteen minutes. And the only thing missing is the aftertaste – a group of villagers must stand up to the psychotic son of a warlord. It is protected by a commander with skilled martial arts skills and a small army.
