It took more than 8 years to develop the script and find funding for production. Prapaphan is a Thai director who has produced short films. before being officially released in Thailand The film premiered at the historic Locarno Film Festival and won festival awards such as the New Talent Award from the Hong Kong Asian Film Festival 2022, the Asian Feature Film (Special Mention) Award from the Singapore International Film Festival 2022, and New Cinema Award from Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival 2023
